From fall to winter – Runway trends embrace colors from opposite polarities

For those who are just making an entry to the fashion domains, the runway trends are the way shaped by the major industry events, eventually shaping what fashion should be in the near future. They also define the media’s moods and introduce the chief take-away concepts in color and silhouettes. The runway trends are a review of the designer collections, textiles and accessories from Paris, London, New York, Milan and Tokyo, though New Delhi, Sydney and Singapore have also been included into the roster.

So that has set what the Fall/Winter collection for 2009 is going to be. All right, it shall be abundance in hues, cuts and textures, but that’s not even half being told. For the love of designer shoes

So you are done with the shopping and riding back home on the ninth cloud thinking about being an absolute butterfly in this weekend’s theme party, but are you sure that you have given yourself a head-to-toe approach? Unless you have a designer pair of shoes to go along that long black evening dress, the jewellery and other accessories we see you crawling the dance floor like a caterpillar.

But myth says adorable and fashionable designer shoes score low on usability and that applies more to the exclusive ones that are occasion-specific. However, if you know the fashion, have an ability to judge the strength of the material and the degrees of sophistication, then designer shoes can well prove to be comfortable buys.

Now, the all-glittery dance-floor shoes apart, a large number of designer shoes are fit enough to double up as normal footwear provided they are comfortable. These must not necessarily be in the lines of high heels or cute little boots, but could be flats or platforms that are cozy, strong and comfortable. Though these may prove a little expensive, they shall serve longer and on multiple occasions. Designer shoes have merged fashion with functionality and comfort all the more in the recent years. Halcyon Highs

Staying controlled, of late, has been caught up as the ongoing trend among urban settings. It’s said that the power of calming the winds and waves had once belonged to the mythical bird that bred at the time of the winter solstice, it’s nest floating on the sea. Humans, at least, discovered how to keep the winds and thought waves under control. We beat you, Halcyon.

The new century has been a new approach towards moderation. The parameters have been set by concepts like minimalism, ergonomics and naturalism; lifestyles changed at rapid rates. The change made the urban society travel towards the optimum levels set by the advanced medical sciences. From apparels to cosmetics to daily commodities, it was evident that the concept of staying healthy reached the public eye. Perhaps that’s why we don’t see nowadays too many air-conditioning units cranked up to insanity.

Whether you noticed or not, currently, the focus of the cool-weather freaks has spread over the range covered by their respective machine(s) that keep(s) their cool (ok, ok; gun- and wheel-heads, I keep you out of this discussion.
